As a Senior Backend Developer, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software using cutting-edge software development practices. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers and DevOps engineers, to ensure deployable, scalable, and maintainable software. Your role will also involve writing clean, efficient, well-documented code, troubleshooting, and enhancing software performance.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality software using best practices in software development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers and DevOps engineers to ensure the software is deployable, scalable, and maintainable.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot and debug software.
- Continuously improve software performance and scalability.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team processes and standards.
- Help build and maintain the backend architecture of the software.
- Write Unit and Functional tests.
Key Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of commercial experience with PHP v 7+.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and basic design patterns.
- At least 1 year of experience with Symfony.
- Good understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL preferably). (Architecture, writing complex queries and their optimization, transactions, and locks)
- Experience with non-relational databases (preferably Elasticsearch and Redis)
- Experience with message brokers, preferably Kafka.
- Must have experience with Docker, docker-compose, and Git.
- Proficiency in English for reading and writing tech documentation.
- Experience with microservices and high load is a plus.
