Key Responsibilities:
- Tableau Server Administration: Administer and maintain Tableau servers, including configuration, optimization, and security settings.
- Tableau API Integration: Develop, implement, and manage integrations using Tableau APIs to automate tasks, enhance reporting capabilities, and optimize data delivery.
- Data Pipeline Management: Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data into Tableau for visualization which contain sources like databases sql & no sql, apis, BigQuery, Google Cloud Functions, AWS, cloudflare and others.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize Tableau workbooks and dashboards for performance, including query optimization, data source optimization, and caching strategies.
- Data Governance: Ensure data governance and security policies are enforced, and monitor data access and usage.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain documentation for Tableau server configurations, API integrations.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Set up monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues related to Tableau, API, and Cloudflare.
Technology stack:
Familiarity with web tracking tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar.
Automation Skills: Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or similar.
Programming Languages: Strong coding skills in languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java for test automation purposes.
Web Technologies: Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web development frameworks.
Browser Developer Tools: Familiarity with browser developer tools for debugging and analyzing web tracking implementations.
Data Analysis: Ability to analyze tracking data to identify issues and discrepancies.
Test Management: Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail) for test case management and defect tracking.
Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
